Quality

We take pride in what we sell and how we sell it.

How we prepare

Quality: our preparation checklist.

A practical process for individually handled models, from first inspection to customer support.

Visual inspection

We inspect the model and, where instructions are available, compare it with them to identify obvious missing parts or damage.

✓

Cleaning

Individually handled models are carefully dusted and cleaned. Where appropriate, sections are removed so debris can be cleared safely.

✓

Build test

For selected models, we test the build and finished result so we only offer something we would be happy to build and display ourselves.

✓

Parts

For official sets, missing pieces are replaced with genuine LEGO parts where practical. Anything unresolved is declared and shown clearly.

✓

Stickers

We check for missing or damaged stickers. Where they cannot be replaced, their condition is noted and reflected in the listing and price.

✓

Photography

We photograph individually handled items from multiple angles and capture the condition, contents and important details buyers need to see.

✓

Storage

Prepared models are kept away from direct sunlight in a clean, dust-controlled environment so their condition remains consistent.

✓

Packing

Built models are placed in sealed protective bags and securely boxed to reduce dust, movement and avoidable damage during transit.

✓

Instructions

Each listing states whether printed or digital instructions are included. Where a PDF is supplied, delivery is arranged after receipt is confirmed.

✓

Support

We aim to resolve questions clearly and help customers with the condition, contents or instructions supplied with their model.

Official LEGO and compatible bricks

Compatible bricks are not the same as LEGO.

Both can produce excellent display models, but the materials, consistency, building experience and available designs can differ.

Established consistency

The benefits of official LEGO

Strengths

  • Consistent clutch, fit and finish across pieces.
  • Reliable colours and durable bricks.
  • Replacement genuine LEGO parts are usually easier to source.
  • A familiar, accessible building experience.

Considerations

  • The official range cannot cover every vehicle, subject or custom design.
  • Building a bespoke model entirely from genuine LEGO parts can be expensive.

A wider design world

Compatible brick models

Strengths

  • A much wider range of MOC builds, vehicles and specialist designs.
  • Models that may not exist in the official LEGO catalogue.
  • Often a more affordable route into large or highly detailed builds.

Considerations

  • Many compatible models are manufactured in China, with quality varying by maker and batch.
  • Clutch can feel tighter or looser, and colours or finish may vary slightly.
  • Some builds require more patience and confidence than an official LEGO set.
